Course content

Thanks to new methods of gait analysis, such as musculoskeletal modeling, it is possible to better understand complex situations involving gait disorders. Reinald Brunner shares this knowledge with you in this course. By attending this course, you will deepen your knowledge of gait analysis. You will be able to use this knowledge for your clinical reasoning in the future.

Prof. Dr. Reinald Brunner

Head of Neuroorthopaedics at the University Children's Hospital Basel and the associated gait laboratory. "I believe it is essential that we understand normal walking and muscular control. Only with this knowledge can we also understand the processes that occur in gait disorders. In this description of normal walking, I did not rely on the electromyogram, i.e. muscle activity, but on muscle strength. This makes it easier to assess the type of muscle activity and its significance."

Very well structured. Very informative.
Very nicely and variedly structured. Very deep insight into gait analysis.

Lots of details, comprehensive information
It's great that you can repeat content as often as you like! If you don't work in the gang lab all the time, some of your knowledge is only superficial - the course is a good refresher/supplement.

Exciting, instructive and versatile
The course managed to explain this complex subject matter to me in an understandable way, even though as an engineer I don't fall directly into the target group for the course. I particularly liked the different audio-visual tools used in the course and the care put into the structure of the course. Many thanks to the Foxstudy team!

The course was very intensive, took me longer than 5 hours of study, and was very helpful for my understanding
I think home study with free time organization is great
