Jan Lieber, MSc OT

Jan Lieber is an occupational therapist with a Master of Science from Danube University Krems. He has taught neuropaediatrics to occupational therapy students at the Medical Academy Freiburg and has many years of clinical experience treating children with neurological conditions. His expertise focuses on evidence-based neuropaediatric rehabilitation and upper limb splinting.

Super summary of all the most important information regarding splint care and very clearly presented. Very useful for daily practice and helpful for making decisions. In addition, it would be interesting to have some patient examples where the decision or fitting was not easy.

Theoretical knowledge presented in a well-structured way, great course!
As always, a lot of theoretical knowledge, well structured and clearly presented. Lots of background information on the topic of children's hands in neuropaediatrics, also interesting for therapists who already have experience in making hand splints. For beginners in the production of hand splints, further input may be necessary (e.g. pressure points, slipping out of the splint...).

the course is very structured and simple. the learning content is all very easy to understand. In order to get to grips with the subject in greater depth, further learning content and practical exercises would certainly be required.
