BASIC

Low vision: basics, diagnostics & support measures

Sight shapes our development and would be the last sense many would give up.

But what happens when visual perception is severely limited and this limitation cannot be corrected with glasses?

In this course, you will learn which processes are necessary for an image to be created in the brain, how we visually perceive our environment, and which tests are part of the low vision examination. You will also learn how to use the examination results to develop targeted support measures and help people with visual impairments to manage their daily lives more independently.
